Ball and Buck is an all-American brand through and through. With a store located on Newbury Street in Boston, the company is passionate about emphasizing American quality over foreign quantity. These guys were born with red, white and blue running through their veins. A Ball and Buck customer is a guy who appreciates high quality things. He’s someone who doesn’t have a hundred pairs of jeans but wants one great pair. This is something Ball and Buck can provide – quality, made-to-last clothing that is modern but reminiscent of America’s roots.
Nothing is made outside of the United States – in fact, with manufacturing facilities along the East Coast, they make the garment you order in the factory closest to your home. Less time from the assembly line to you means less pollution to the environment, drastically reducing the company’s carbon footprint.
The second amendment, the right to bear arms, is stitched inside of every garment pushed through Ball and Buck factory doors. The company’s name comes from George Washington’s reference to shotgunning – the buck and ball method of loading muskets. Owner Mark Bollman drew inspiration for both his store, which is made complete with various antiques, massive leather sofas and a barbershop in the back, and his brand from hunting trips with his grandfather. One of the brand’s signatures is a sport shirt with a stitched in hunter’s shoulder.
