Get a of sneak peek of the much anticipated Joy Movie Teaser Trailer for the upcoming film scheduled to be released Christmas Day 2015.  Although we will need to wait until Christmas to see the film in full, we can now enjoy a the official Joy Movie Teaser Trailer preview of the upcoming production with scenes filmed in local North Shore towns including Newburyport, Newbury and West Newbury.

Joy is a wild story of a family across four generations centered on a girl who rises to become the woman who founds a powerful family business dynasty.  The movie features an impressive cast:  Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro, Edgar Ramirez, Diane Ladd, Virginia Madsen, Isabella Rossellini, Elizabeth Rohm, and Bradley Cooper.

How much of Newburyport will we see?  Will “Joy” cause Hollywood to recognize Newburyport as an up and coming destination for future films?  Some speculate that our quaint historic town of Newburyport could gain recognition if “Joy” is as successful as Director, David O. Russell’s other films: “The Fighter” and “American Hustle.”
