Choosing a daycare or school for your child can feel like an overwhelming task, but the Greater Newburyport Mothers and Families Club is making it easier for families with their upcoming annual Early Education Fair. Visit Newburyport City Hall this Wednesday, November 7th from 6:30 pm to 8 pm to meet with over twenty early education schools and daycares from the surrounding areas, all in one place. The fair is free and open to the public.
Every family has different needs and priorities for their childcare, and researching your options can be incredibly time consuming… something all families can agree they are short on! The Early Education Fair, designed much like a college fair, gives parents the opportunity to move from table to table to learn about what each school or daycare has to offer. Teachers and representatives will be on hand to answer questions and offer information, ranging from flexible hours and costs to teaching techniques and philosophies, to help families select a school or daycare that matches their needs. Representatives from area Educational Foundations will also be available to answer questions about the local school districts.
Unsure of what exactly you’re looking for? The Greater Newburyport Mothers and Families Club will be handing out folders with a suggested list of questions that parents may find helpful to ask the teachers and/or representatives from the schools.
This annual Early Education Fair, now in it’s 19th year, expects a turnout of 50 to 100 parents. Enjoy light refreshments, socialize with other local families, all while planning your child’s future!
