Apples minutes from the orchard, greens miles from the farm. The Newburyport Farmers’ Market lives by #SupportLocal.
Massachusetts and New Hampshire farm-fresh crops, meats and cheeses offer an edible arrangement of great local flavors.
Open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, browse the tents to meet dozens of regional farmers, chefs, fisherman and artists.
Shop for free-range beef, pork, veal and eggs at Kellie Brook Farm from Greenland, New Hampshire. Their sausage and chorizo breakfast sandwiches on fresh croissants cannot be missed.
Skip over to Appleton Farm from Ipswich, Massachusetts to sample aged cheese, and pick up a container of fresh milk or ice cream.
Figtree Kitchen from the New Hampshire seacoast is always a crowd favorite with homemade baked goods like the Kouign Amann, flaky dough layered with rich butter and sugar.
Vendors supplying fresh-cut flowers and plants like the Herb Pharmacy from over the bridge in Salisbury, MA are also onsite.
As are a bevy of local artists including Rose Bryant’s original and TINY paintings. So colorful and creative, Rose breathes life into art.
Last stop. Far From the Tree Cider from Salem, MA produces small batch hard cider that will give you something to cheers about.
