The Best of Newburyport^™ VIP Card Program is a local loyalty program that saves you money EACH TIME you visit participating businesses, it helps raise money for local nonprofits, and it reminds us to support our local small business owners with our purchases. It is a Greater Newburyport “shop local” program that donates 40% of cards sales to local nonprofits and rewards card holders with amazing local discounts.

Purchase one VIP Card for $25 or two for $40 and receive a choice of a Digital VIP Card in the Newburyport App or a Physical VIP Card. The Digital VIP Card is valid one year from purchase date and Physical VIP Cards expire at the end of the calendar year.

Choose the Physical VIP card and receive the 2023 Card. All prior year cards are expired. Digital VIP Cards are valid one year from purchase date. Tap your Card to view your expiration date.

The VIP Program is simple to use. There is no scanning or swiping. Just show your Physical VIP Card or TAP your Digital VIP Card when making a purchase.

The Newburyport App is a great option for smart phone users, allowing Digital VIP Card display as well as a convenient directory of businesses that is updated real time. The directory allows you to sort the businesses into four categories: Eat, Shop, Stay & Experience and it also provides a search option. If you say yes to all of the location questions as you download and open the App, it will provide you with reminders to use the App at businesses that are near. The physical card can be shared but the login for the digital card can not, as it is tied to an individual’s email address and designed to work on only one device.
