Schools Sell Homes in Greater Newburyport
My wife Laura and I decided to relocate from Boston to Newburyport, Massachusetts several years ago based on the lifestyle in which we wanted to raise our children.
Newburyport is a great small city, with fantastic restaurants and shops. It’s also easily accessible to everything and everywhere, so it was easy to picture our kids having an amazing childhood here.
After the move I was so inspired. It was exciting to pour my energy into real estate and share the Newburyport lifestyle with other young families interested in joining the community as well.
Now eight years later, we’re living the dream. Laura and I have added three girls to our family. We all have access to the river and ocean, and love getting involved with Youth Soccer and Nature Camps. I’ve also recently expanded the Bentley’s brand to include a team of exceptional realtors, and Laura and I are in the process of creating a Coastal Lifestyle Site that spotlights everything Greater Newburyport has to offer.
If I said before, I’ll say it again. Newburyport, It’s a Lifestyle, and we, like many others, aren’t taken a second of living here for granted.
The Clock is Ticking
Each year around this time I always experience an influx of real estate closings, but none more powerful than within the past couple months due to the opening of Newburyport’s new F.T. Bresnahan Elementary School.
This state-of-the-art facility on High Street has some truly impressive early education amenities, and I’m excited all three of my daughters (6, 5, 5) will have the opportunity to attend Bresnahan this year.
So while there’s nothing new about assisting families find their dream homes within their desired school districts, the heat is definitely on this summer as the time clock ticks closer to those school registration deadlines.
Time to Get on the Market
Just prior to this whirl of activity, real estate inventory in the Greater Newburyport area was at a lull.
After experiencing increased business during the summer months of years past, and keeping up to date with the Bresnahan school construction given my girls, Bentley’s worked together with other area top realtors to get the word out about needing new property on the market.
It worked, and those who were able to list their homes are now be rewarded with fast closing deals, at full asking price, from qualified buyers interested in raising their families in Newburyport.
It’s a Lifestyle Easily Assessable
You don’t have to work in Newburyport to live here and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
Downtown Newburyport is minutes from I-495 and I-95. We also have easy access to the MBTA Commuter Rail’s Newburyport/Rockport line that lands at Boston’s North Station.
