High Quality Wine and Cheese Shop with Old World Charm

Grand Trunk Wine and Cheese Shop in downtown Newburyport, Massachusetts has one of the most extensive wine selections around. The shop, modeled after an old world market, is all about tradition, culture, and cuisine. Pair your wine with delicacies such as fine cured meats, artisan cheeses, fresh breads, and olives to create the perfect dining experience.

Stop in to chat with owners and husband and wife, Angela and Jeremey Kirkpatrick, who are always available to recommend a great pairing or just have a friendly conversation about what they’re passionate about—their shop and the delicious products they bring in from all over the world.

Angela, also a registered dietician, understands how the quality of food affects your health and happiness. Grand Trunk Wine and Cheese Shop focuses on selling products that are produced with clean practices or are certified organic.

Grand Trunk Wine and Cheese Shop, also jokingly referred to as their first daughter, reflects the Kirkpatrick’s family values. Now a family of four, with two daughters that grew up in the store, the family eats just about every meal together. Cooking and sitting down to dine with family and friends is what the shop strives to give its customers.

Before settling in Newburyport to open their brick and mortar store, Grand Trunk Wine and Cheese Shop, the Kirkpatricks traveled the world sampling and importing foods.

The name Grand Trunk is a nod to the old Grand Trunk Railways, one of the original lines that brought goods to the United States and Canada.
