SOAK & Shoreline

Soak Shoreline is a wonderful downtown Newburyport retailer featuring two distinctly different, yet totally complementary shops:Soak & Shoreline Invitation Night Dianne with Truck 1284x1712 SOAK known for luxurious bath & beauty products and Shoreline with a reputation for top quality sleepwear and loungewear. Owner, Dianne Sirard opened Soak in May 2002, kickstarting the instant popularity of what many referred to as, “the Soap Bar of Newburyport” due to the impressive 20 foot wall of beautifully fragranced soaps. Over the years, Soak expanded significantly adding highly regarded natural lines, organic products, carefully selected fragrances, hand-picked shower curtains, and popular items such as bath balms, scrubs and a variety of wonderful bath & beauty accessories as well.

A steady increase in business throughout the years placed Dianne at a crossroads, either to open another location in nearby Portsmouth, NH or expand into the retail space that became available next door. In 2012 Dianne launched Shoreline, a retail clothing shop dedicated to cozy PJ’s and comfortable yet stylish loungewear. With her passion for providing the highest level of customer service for her guests, expansion into the adjacent space was the right business decision for Dianne. “If I were to open another shop elsewhere, I feel like I would lose a piece of what makes Soak special. I like being here to greet my clients. They are special to me and they deserve special treatment,” said Dianne.

Soak & Shoreline Sidewalk Sales Soak StaffShoreline features many top sleepwear brands as well as stylish loungewear perfect for relaxing at home or running around town. They are also known as a great place to find popular seasonal items such as hats, gloves and scarves for the cold weather or beach hats, beach bags and flip flops for summer fun. More recently the shop is also featuring a selection of fun summer sun dresses.

Soak & Shoreline both with their own storefront entrances, are connected by a passageway that joins these individually popular destinations inside the retail shop. Although Soak & Shoreline feature different merchandise, the goals and customer experience are aligned. Dianne says, “Our mission is to bring indulgence and bliss to your everyday.” With this unequivocal determination to exceed customer expectations, Soak & Shoreline are top of mind for many locals and visitors when in search of the perfect gift. Let this serve as your official Newburyport.com disclaimer that buying gifts at Soak & Shoreline, puts shoppers at risk for the temptation of shopping for themselves!

Dianne credits her success to continuously updating her inventory to suit both regulars and tourists saying, “When you have a shop inSoak & Shoreline Holiday Window with Cat downtown Newburyport, you can’t just rely on the tourist season. For this reason, I stay in close contact with my clients, reaching out to them throughout the year with special offers on new and popular products. Many of these clients know the store well. They call to reorder items, and we ship directly to their home.”
