Riverfront Boating Live Cam
Dine By the Light of the Rear Range Lighthouse
Keepers of the Light
The Rear Range Lighthouse is part of Newburyport’s history. Built in 1873, the Lighthouse reaches 32 feet high and promises the best views of the Merrimack River.
Flowing northeast until meeting the Atlantic Ocean, the Merrimack River is listed as one of the Navigable Waters of the United States, and you can watch all the boating traffic via our Riverfront Boating Live Cam positioned on top of the lighthouse.
The Rear Range is maintained and operated by the Lighthouse Preservation Society, we’re proud to support them in their mission to, “Save America’s Lighthouses.” If you would like to donate to this cause, you can learn more about opportunities for community investment here.
