State Street North Live Cam Views

Thanks to downtown Newburyport’s host of boutiques, small businesses and restaurants, there’s plenty of hustle & bustle along State Street. This makes our State Street North Live Cam a must-see for real-time happenings in the city’s busiest commercial area.

We’ve partnered with one of Newburyport’s most popular shop’s Ganesh Imports to broadcast live from our State Street North Live Cam looking out over State Street in the direction of Market Square. Inspiring customers for 27 years, Ganesh Imports features an eclectic selection of unique goods sourced from many countries around the world. Named after the Hindu lord of luck and removal of obstacles, Ganesh Imports offers a wide range of items ranging from furniture to small gifts and trendy clothing.

Among the more popular gifts in the store is its large collection of colorful and hip door knobs and pulls. The knobs present proof of the store’s relaxed and spiritual atmosphere. That atmosphere is augmented by the subtle scent of incense. After 27 years of running Ganesh Imports, with help from his girlfriend and staff, owner Bill Bixby said he doesn’t even notice the incense. In addition to selling incense, Ganesh Imports offers incense boards, oils and soaps.

Ganesh Imports is a proud member of the Best of Newburyport VIP Program, helping to raise money for Newburyport.com’s 23 local nonprofit partner organizations. Ganesh chooses to reward loyal VIP Card holders with a 10% discount of all non-sale items every time they shop at Ganesh Imports.
