Drink wine, taste locally crafted beer, enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres prepared by the Mission Oak Grill, listen to live music by Lux, and watch the Kentucky Derby live on a big screen TV. It’s that easy!

Come to the Newburyport Parks Taste of Spring event, this Saturday, May 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Oak Grill, 26 Green Street, Newburyport, MA. This event promises to be the most fun you will ever have maintaining the Newburyport Parks. That’s right, all proceeds go to caring for all of Newburyport’s 22 parks.

It’s also the day before Mother’s Day, so if you’re at a loss for what to do to make Mom feel special, Taste of Spring is a great way to celebrate with discounted tickets for mothers and those bringing one. There will be fun for all at this event. We have you covered for the Kentucky Derby with live event coverage projected on a large screen, friendly betting and a best hat competition.

The Newburyport Parks Conservancy is a private non-profit charitable foundation whose sole mission is to care for and beautify Newburyport’s parks and public spaces.  It was founded with support from The Mayor Gayden W. Morrill Charitable Foundation and continues to fund maintenance and improvement projects throughout the parks.
