Expand Business Network, Charity Give Back
New Year’s Resolution | Hang out with a bunch of cool professionals to talk small business strategies.
On Thursday, January 15, join us at the Launch Party of Young Professionals with a Purpose (YPP) to expand your business network AND give back to charity.
Held at the Ipswich Country Club, this marks the first mixer for the Greater Newburyport YPP Group, with canned food donations benefiting Pennies for Poverty.
Coordinated and hosted by the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry, both Chamber members and non-members are invited to network, so bring your friends!
YYP will now continue to meet each month, with each mixer providing assistance to a different charity.
Do you know about the impressive history of the Plum Island Airport in Newbury? Many advances in aviation occurred on Plum Island. The first flying field in New England was built on Plum Island. The original runway over the sand dunes and marshes was made of wood!
Its that time of year again…another class has wrapped up its four years at Newburyport High School and is preparing to graduate. A proud Newburyport tradition for all graduating seniors of NHS is the week before graduation.
Whether you live local to the Newburyport area or you are just coming for a visit, the Clipper City Rail Trail is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the area. The path runs from MBTA Commuter Rail Station over to the Merrrimack River and provides a picturesque spot to exercise or just enjoy a leisurely stroll.
